Born and raised in Hamburg with German-Baltic and Polish roots, I studied philosophy and social psychology in Vienna and Amsterdam and took film courses at the School of Visual Arts in New York. I use filmmaking and media art as a means to explore ecological interconnectedness and global power dynamics from a feminist viewpoint and as a tool for self-reflection.

My VR project "Cloud Control" was selected for the Immersive Residency and Prototyping Lab of the EUCL in Luxembourg and Leipzig. My latest fictional short film, "Ombelico," won the "Best Film" award at the Pigneto Film Festival in 2023.

Currently, I am developing my first two feature documentaries. "A World in Bloom," produced by Katharina Bergfeld (Ma.ja.de), and the hybrid documentary essay “Dschenkuje“.

I also give lectures and workshops on documentary filmmaking and social psychological topics.
